Introduced in 2002, the 745 was the first vehicle to use BMW's much discussed (and much copied) iDrive central control knob. Also introduced in BMW's flagship sedan was an all new auto leveling suspension, a 4.4 liter V8 that was awarded Engine of the Year by the automotive press for 4 consecutive years, an improved Dynamic Stability Control that allows the driver the ability to drive more aggressively than other large luxury sedans would allow, and an all new gorgeous interior designed coincidentally by a Minnesota Native working at BMW.
This car was a previous BMW repurchase due to recurring issues with the iDrive software. The software was replaced and 745 still benefits from BMW's warranty that covers 4 years and 50,000 miles on the 745.
